The Introduction to Active Learning course takes place in the spring term and targets the new 1st year students. In this course, through experiencing teamwork and by reflecting on ways of learning, the students “learn how to learn.” In 2016, we began the “Co⁺work” course, which targets all students and has the objective of developing the students’ learner autonomy, group collaboration and creative thinking. This is an integrated-year, multi-disciplinary course in which groups composed of 8 students from different ages and majors under the surveillance of a randomly chosen teacher have to carry out the planning, design, and implementation of a project.
