Our former student, Mr. Koichi Nishida, who studied in the department of Civil Engineering, has entered the University of Mississippi, USA, one of our international partner schools, for full-time study after experiencing a summer program abroad

Akashi College has 19 international partner universities and organizations in 11 countries and has promoted global projects for providing overseas study programs and creating opportunities to strengthen collaborative ties and understanding of other peoples and cultures.

Mr. Nishida participated in one of our programs, which included a six-week study at the University of Mississippi last summer. This April, he mentioned that he was determined to go to the university because interacting with people from many countries has stimulated him to become a professional on a global stage in the future.

Encouraging our students to set targets by themselves is an outcome of our global projects. We have also established transfer agreements with 3 international partner universities providing opportunities for students to transfer into some programs at the 2nd or 3rd year of university overseas.
