ANCT consists of four departments: Mechanical Engineeering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Architecture. After finishing the course, students may be able to transfer to universities in their third year or to poceed to the Advanced Course of the colleges of technology.
Students thoroughly learn basic theory of mechanics and obtain required knowledge on such fields
as materials, energy, manufacturing and control. Through many kinds of experiments and seminars in
such as designing and drawing, and information processing, the students will integrate their skills
and knowledge they have obtained in their basic courses. The students are encouraged to be
a mechanical engineer, with practicality and creativity, who are competent in any field of technology.
During the first three years, students are provided with a foundation of electricity,
electronics and information processing. In the last two years, students are divided
into two courses: Electrical Engineering and Information Engineering. In these technical courses,
further study is provided in order to produce professional engineers who can cope with the rapid and
extensive development of recent years in electrical and information engineering.
Besides the foundation of civil engineering, students learn environmental engineering,
computer technology, robot engineering and system engineering as well. The aim is to bring up professional civil
engineers who can cope with the future demand in the fields of land development, natural resources, public
transportation and infrastructure.
Besides the foundation of architecture and basic skills of designing and drawing, students are expected
to learn the relation between architectural technology and human life. Course works of designing are required, and
the subjects such as design planning, structure, environmantal facilities and information
processing are provided as well. The students are encouraged to develop their academic ability and to
cultivate themselves.
